The USGODAE server is one of two Argo Global Data Assembly Centers (GDAC).

USGODAE Argo GDAC
The USGODAE Argo GDAC is currently operational, serving daily data from
the following national DACs: Australian (CSIRO), Canadian (MEDS),
Indian (INCOIS), Korean (KMA), Japanese (JMA), UK (BODC),
and US (AOML).
Data Directories
The Argo data are stored in three different collections:
1) Directory dac/[dac name]/[float name] contains float metadata
and individual daily float profiles
2) Directory latest_data/ contains all daily profiles combined
into one NetCDF Multi-Profile file
3) Directory geo/ contains multi-profile files divided by ocean basin
